The D3HS Team
Richard "Rick" Heaser
Owner/Founder
Retired U.S. Marine/ Disabled Veteran
Rick established D3HS in January of 2023 shortly after retiring from a 25 year career in the Marine Corps. He served as an enlisted Combat Engineer and an Artillery Officer across the United States, Indo-Pacific, Middle East, Balkans, Eastern Europe, and the Mediterranean, serving in conflicts in both the Balkans and Middle East. Rick graduated from Campbell University earning a Business Administration Degree with Magna Cum Laude honors in 2004.
His SCUBA certifications date back to 1995 while serving in Okinawa, Japan, with recreational dives all over the globe. However, his diving experience goes back even further to when he was about 10 years old growing up diving off a 1960s gas powered Hookah system.
Not only an avid diver, Rick has been a boat owner nearly his entire adult life, with a 42 foot blue water sailboat currently. A labor of love combining two of his hobbies into a business.
Rick is a family man, married to his wife Amber since 2014. They have a daughter, Skylar, and both have been seen on the docks from time to time. Rick has two older daughters, Madison and Macy who are growing into beautiful young ladies.
His philosophy is to treat every boat as if he was diving on his own. He will make every effort to earn and keep your business and treat every customer with respect.
